i had them on my car , definitely sound manly after the stock ones . LOL
But i put them on my truck now.
i like them.

i did this mod on my x and the tons just dont look as good as they do on the subaru.. so i left the one supertone down in the front bumper ans murdered out the other one in the front so you dont know they are there til i honk.. just my opinion.. the x already has alot going on in the front end..keep it clean

 

+1... if you blacked out the horns then it wouldn't matter how you mount them. But if you painted them like that you should try and get them level.
