Name That Front Splitter

Whcih one do you think this is? I think it's the Ralliart. Anyone have good pricing? What about secondary market options?

That was my thought, anybody could put a sticker on anything. Clearly I'd like to avoid spending the coin on genuine Ralliart if a similar quality knock off is available.

This is the reason companies that make quality parts fail.

JDP engineering stuff is decent, 7-8/10. It will fade and yellow, though.

please don't throw in the "zomgicanballwithjaydeeemm" argument. it's played out. just because you spent x amount of dollars, it doesn't mean others can't spend y amount of dollars as well.

They're different companies, have different quality control systems, and knock off other manufacturers' parts with varying levels of quality.

Right, and do you have any info on how this relates to the three companies listed?

The designs of the lips are also different among the 'ra replicas'. Jdp looks like a replica. Rexpeed is rallyart 'style'.

Yes, it means the stuff you buy from them will not fit as well as the real deal, will yellow faster in sunlight, might have more blemishes in the CF, and in general is of lower quality. I had a JDP Do-Luck style lip, cost me a little over $400. It sucked. It yellowed, scratched easily, etc. But, that's what you get for buying a knock-off lip at half the price of the real deal.

A true Ralliart lip should have OEM quality fitment, JDP and other companies will have less than OEM fitment. You'll have gaps, it might be hard to install, sometimes it won't even come pre-drilled, which is a crock.

My Rexpeed Varis style lip I had? Meh. A few gaps and not the greatest weave.

My APR lip that I currently have? Amazing.

So, yeah, some people are okay buying knock-offs. I have JDP interior trim and mirror covers, but I'll never buy anything else from them because you truly get what you pay for, in my opinion.
