From what I remember when talking to Nic about his lights, is that they are DOT approved because they use your stock headlights and housing, so the DOT stamp is on the lights. I know for a fact that running red and/or blue lights in the headlights on the street are illegal (impersonating a police officer) but that doesnt mean you cant use them at a car show.

Wouldn't put this on my car even if I got them free. It looks like a LEGO toy or a disco show, not sure which to choose.
