what is the actual name of the color of the CE28s on the OB? There are like several different grays and silver colors... looks like titanium gunmetal....?

Yup, Volk has a lot of silvers. Made my decision really hard especially when their color chart looks nothing like the actual finish on the wheel. The one I went with was Formula Silver. There is an extra cost to each wheel and a longer wait time to get them if you do an optional color. Here's the color chart

Formula silver?? They don't look like them... I had a set of Formula Silver... unless they do not come with a polish lip anymore... maybe its the camera cause the color looks different. These were my Formula silver... I am only asking because I am on the verge of ordering another set and have been looking around what other colors look like on real pictures.

 

Both cars are very nice. Look forward to seeing more pics of these. Any engine bay shots of the WW?

 

Trust me, they are Formula Silver. And they say it on the boxes that I ordered. Volk makes a full Formula Silver hence why you don't see a polish lip. We ordered 2 sets in formula silver, one set in TE's and mine in CE's. Fizz Autosports can confirm that with you if you don't believe me. The one's you have pictured are I believe the Formula Limited which is why you have a polish lip and I don't.

Thanks for posting pics. I realized the polished lip formulas were from 2008 with a limited run. Thanks for the clarification. I just asked to make sure cause I'm trying to decide on a color right now. The TEs look nice! Looks like the whole rim is Formula silver now. Looks good tho! May have to reconsider ordering the RE30s in this color.... decisions...

Both cars look awesome, and it's the perfect "good vs evil" battle per se. Haha, I'm more for the clean look of the blue one, but I can't say ray's car looks bad either even though I'm not into the aggressive look.
