First round of photos from TX Mile
Just got to Phoenix after running the TX Mile. It was a pretty cool event...very laid back. I was using the event as a test bed for all of the new parts on the car (engine, transmission, diffuser, etc) so top speed wasn't so much of a concern. Even so, I wanted to up the rev limiter from 9,200 but in the name of being safe and making it thru an event...it stayed.
I ended up hitting 180.0. When you see the final vid, which should be up soon, you'll see that I had to cruise in 5th from the 1/4 mile marker to the 3/4 mile marker before going WOT thru the traps. The car is so fast. So fast haha...needs more gears! For now, here is a vid and a few pictures from our first day at the TX Mile.

He said the purpose of this was testing how everything worked together. And besides, his top speed was gear limited coasting 1/2 a mile in the middle... So no reason to take off the wing...
