This past weekend we had a group of 4 X's take a road trip to Deal's Gap to slay the dragon. For anyone who's not familiar with Deal's Gap, it's a section of Hwy 129 between NC and TN they call the Tail of the Dragon that has 318 curves in 11 miles. If you haven't been and you're in driving distance, do yourself a favor and plan a trip. You'll appreciate what the X can do so much more

Actually several of us are going to the Dragon this weekend. You guys should come out. We will be there Saturday and Sunday. Just seach Dragon Meet.

 

JDZ - Traffic wasn't too bad this past weekend. There are turnoff spots all down the road so slow people can get out of the way and let you go by. Sometimes they didn't though so we ended up having to just pull over and wait a few minutes and then go again.

darkside - We were originally going to go this coming weekend, but there were no places to stay remotely close to there. There is a huge Mini meet this weekend so everything was booked. Hope you guys have a good time though!

On the way out the MR lost one of the bolts connecting the DP and the rest of the exhaust. Time for a Lowe's repair.

Looks like so much fun. One day I will venture all the way from VA to do it; that is after I have purchased my evo.

 

The dog is peppy, the scenery is beautiful, the cars are sexy and you all are with your domestic partners. I hate you so much.
