I learned how to drive stick on AN evo also. Try goin to an empty parking look and put around in the gears. Thats what i did i got the hang of it but the only thing i dont like is the notchy gears but you will get used to that also

just always release clutch slowly and with enough gas so it wont stall.

ebrake helps a lot on inclines. release clutch, add gas then wait until the car is wanting to move then release ebrake.
