How is fitment on REXPEED non aero side spats?

I am looking at REXPEED type 1 (kansai) type side spats for my non aero X.

Who has them?
Any gaps for crud to get behind or are they pretty tight.
How many holes did you make to install?
How have they held up to rocks and weather?
Would you buy again or go another route and why?

I also looked at JDP Engineering but they only have the VOLTEX style which I think look goofy on our cars.

Mine have pretty big gaps where rocks get caught and one cracked in half when I applied a little pressure trying to make sure the double sided tape was making contact.

It's hit or miss with most aftermarket carbon fiber parts unless you are getting the more higher end stuff like do luck, varis, voltex.

Well, i am not spending 500-700 on stick on do-dads for VOLTEX etc, so it is off to the body shop for repairs.

I don't have this product from Rexpeed but as with all aftermarket parts, especially Rexpeed, it's a crap shoot. I think it's 50/50 for the quality and fitment of the product. Both times I've bought something from Rexpeed, the fitment was 8/10 and there were visible flaws in the product, like paint/clearcoat and actually crookedness. I've spend a little more money to buy a quality product.

Mine fit ok just had to drill a few holes to attach them, but they did have some gaps and caught rocks. I think they would hold up better with tape placed alone the edge and they wouldn't catch rocks then. I have a set for sale cheap if you want to try them non v-style. Pm me if interested.
