Blast from the Past
so I was amped when my boy called me up and said he wanted to take some shots of his new Mitsubishi 3000gt along side my Evo. We call it white on white goodness, I think the shots came out decent and it’s nice to see Mitsubishi’s hero car from 1999 shining, alive and kicking. Some of the similarities in styling cues are pretty amazing like the open front, the 3000gt reminds me so much of cars like the 96′ Toyota Supra, Honda Nsx and Gtr.

hey can you ask your friend what kind of settings he used on his camera? I just got a DSLR and am trying to learn how to create different effects.... or was the majority of this done in photoshop?

Sure, I took the pics. If you go to my flickr stream and click on any of these pics then look on the top right it say's, "This photo was taken on July 23, 2011 using a Nikon D3100. " Click on Nikon D3100 and you will see all my settings I used for each pic. In photoshop I did minimal work just shadow and highlight feature, just as a rule of thumb I wanted to play with depth of field with a few of these pics in other words blurring what was out of focus. What camera did you get?

Na, not a vr-4 he wanted to get out of the speed game for a while but still keep it in the Mitsu family He had an evo 10 and sold it to save cash.

thats your boy in the car? it looks like a women ....always liked the 3000GTs too bad they are a PITA to work on.

We were just talking about Vr4s at work today for some reason then I come home and see this. Great looking rides and they do look good together.

Nice, it's a great entry level camera one of the best to learn with. What lens do you have though, cause the bundle 18-55 lens is a nice over all one but there are a ton of better lenses out there for macro as well as for dof and way better zoom lenses.
