Varis Widebody Kit

High quality parts never go obsolete. Regardless of how many times you see them flashed on a forum where the concentration is purely Evo owners your perspective often becomes skewed. Just because a small percentage of Evo X owners have gotten their builds together this year using the 09 Varis Aero doesn't mean it's going "out of style". Quite the opposite in fact. People are beginning to recognize what they ultimately want their build to be about from an Aero standpoint. Those fortunate owners of Varis aero pieces can attest that while the products aren't inexpensive, you honestly get what you pay for.
Are new products coming out for the Evo X? Sure, isn't that the natural progression and something we all want to see continue for this platform? To "downgrade" an existing product just because the manufacture is continuing to provide the market with more options is puzzling to me. Not everyone is going to feel it's necessary for a widebody kit for a car that can fit 10.5" wheels with very little work, not to mention the amount of body work that is inherent to the installation of a widebody kit (it's a lot of work).
As an owner of an Evo X myself I'd much rather see Japanese companies continue push the envelope to come up with new products that keep the platform relevant. Do we really need more knock off carbon "Ralliart Style" front lips or fake Voltex Diffusers? While I don't support/endorse those products, I understand there is a market for them. Respect the fact that while some are content with just jumping on the bandwagon to make more "me too" CF fender vents, canards etc. that just so happen to look a lot like a certain companies design -- there are still innovators in the market that give us a glimpse into what is in store for the CZ4A platform.
Also, in response to the "Hella-Flush" comment -- while it's a personal preference I think most Evo owners appreciate the car for it's performance capabilities and wouldn't sacrifice that so they could slam their car to the ground on super stretched tires.
Back on topic -- since some of you guys have been asking about details concerning the G-Force splitter, here is a nice close up shot detailing the splitter as well as the underside. Since the splitter does not come with hardware, this is probably the best look we'll get at the mounting solutions that the G-Force team has used.

Well spoken Jason. That diffuser is crazy and highly functional. I just threw the hella-flush comment out because it's bound to happen somehow one way or another because they are starting to show up on the 8 and 9. There is 2 people here in Chicago that did 2 X's in that stance form. But I have a real good feeling that (out of topic) that VIP will somehow make it's way into the Midwest next year.

In all honesty, Jason, I agree. I don't really care though. I need that front bumper installed because I just $^#@ed up my bumper last week, whoops. My car can't compete, show-wise. I care more about that engine stuff I was discussing with you a little while ago.
I am not the type to get something like this, although I can afford it. I think that the X is wide enough as is. But, I can certainly appreciate the beauty and craftsmanship involved in the creation of these aero pieces! I think that once the finished product hits the retailers, they will enhance the already beautiful lines of the the CZ4A. I, for one, welcome every and all new products, regardless of style or taste. TO EACH HIS/HER OWN!!! Let's just respect that!
i'm sure your cast molded 29+ pound 19x10.5 knock off TE37s are a great performance improvement to your Evo.
