They let you on the track with the windows up? Which organization do you run with? I know with NASA & SCCA, you have to have the windows down.

To the OT, it's good that you went off straight. It could have ended worse if you got into the mud sideways (flip).

You either have to have them all the way up or all the way down.

SCCA and ICSCC in Oregon let you run windows up or down at both PIR and Oregon Raceway. Only two tracks I've been to.

I'm surprised some organizations would NOT let you run up... what if it's pouring? I'm not down to soak my interior. It's raining here 8 months out of the year.

Windows down is mandatory over in the Northeast with all organizations. This is for safety, just in case the safety crew have to pull you out of a burning car.

I've been caught many times in heavy downpour. Windows down all the time.

It takes 1/2 a second to break a window... regardless rules are rules.

Yah that's odd, haven't ran across that rule yet. I've ran across half down windows, you get the meatball flag, but definitely not all the way up here.

Only half of the towers had people in them. It was weird. Lots of yellows and blacks that day.
