I have the same roof rack and am going to put it back on this year but I ordered a set of lamin-x rack guards (kind of like clear bra for under the mounts) for this time around.

Last year when I took the mounts off there were tiny marks in the paint where they had been. Did you have the same problem?

I had actually ordered 4ft of clear vinyl (similar to 3m clear bra material) from XPEL Corp. They offer many different types. I was able to cut four 6x4 sheets out and stick them onto the car under the actual brackets them selves. Luckily i didn't run into any scratching.. etc because i just bought the rack this year, and had done some research before mounting everything up. I bought an excess amount so i can perform the same procedure annually.

My winter setup:

18x9 drag DR-31's, with Conti DWS. I've used these tires previously on my VIII and they've had no issues in winter, so we'll see how they do with the heavier X

Yeah their 03 350z wheels. I was skeptical about then at first but I can dig it for a writer set up. And I got a hell of a deal on them!

YOU'LL love them. i have used them since they came out. I initially used them on my Audi in Germany then Now on the Evo. And they are speed rated for the dry times.....
