So close to ordering the Anvil 2. Now I'm back to debating between the Anvil and the Anvil 2. Anyone have a pic of the Anvil on the SST?

Thanks initial_d2k! Is that how it sits normally? Is there a way to make the ball sit lower? I'm comparing to wthoevo8's pic of the Anvil 2 and his seems to sit quite a bit lower. Thanks!

for sure, it came with 2 nuts and a washer. I used all 3 of them, I assume I can make it significantly lower (2mm to 5mm) lower if i remove the washer or one of the nuts.
might try this tomorrow =)

Looking at d2k's pic. There's still some lowering left for the pull up to be clear.

just to confirm with d2k. Theres no ugly gaps or anything. The anvil sits flush and everything works fine? If so i'm getting one. Looks so good!

Sounds like it will definitely sit lower and be perfectly flush if he just uses one less washer or nut. I would just order one if I were you These knobs are countersunk so there's plenty of clearance for the reverse lockout

Just went down and snap some pictures for you guys:

This the "nut-washer-nut" configuration before

And this is how it look when i leave one nut only:

It surely looks a lot better. I will use it for a while and see if there's any issue with the pull-up with day-to-day driving.
At worst, I will add one nut back without the washer.

BTW, thats the Moddiction Titanium Shift Knob - 2" Round Anvil - Brushed Burnt finish

I just checked their site, it seems to be running out fairly quickly.

a small note:
The actual color looks less purple than the picture on their product page.
You can compare the picture i first posted vs the one on their site.

Wow looks really good! Maybe one nut plus the washer if you're having issues? How does it feel so far?
