Thanks for the follow up and kind words guys the brakes have yet to be mounted onto the car, I'm still designing the brackets for them. I'm not too far off which is exciting, but I work full time so my time spent at home working on these is limited. My car is off the road for the winter as well, so its not a huge pressing issue. I want to have test brackets machined this week to test mounting, if all is good, ill get a stainless steel set machined. Ill keep this thread updated, I'm still working on it!

Back on topic - Did you clear coat them afterwards? if not, how long do you expect them to last? I would hate to see someone go to rotate your tires or something and accidentally nick your hard work man, I would recommend putting something over it to protect it.

I didn't clear coat them because I haven't heard of anything good coming from clear coating them . As for time, I have no idea how long these will last, but I'll keep this thread updated! Also, I plan on doing my own tire rotations

Haha sorry man! I've been extremely busy with work! However, they're still being designed! Hopefully have them machined soon for a test fit / production design.

Plastic media is the way to go. Glass is too iffy and doesn't last long at all. Sand, well that's just a dumb idea.
