APR front splitter removal

i have a splitter installed on my 08 evo x. im planning on removing it since it has a crack in it. My question is do i need to reinstall the factory splash guards? i dont have them since they werent on the car. will it do any damage? Finally, is the splitter just held on with bolts underneath along with supporting rods? At least thats what i can see when i look at it.

^ are you saying the factory undertray was removed when the splitter was installed?

my recommendation is source a factory undertray first before removing the splitter. the

undertray is very important on the X's for airflow and protection on the oil filter, they sit very

low... or just be very carefull when driving without it. good luck!
