LED Driving Lights installed

Just wanted to share the results of my install after I swapped out the stock bulbs with some LED bulbs.

I think they look great as you can see they are nice and bright even during the day.

Have you driven at night with them yet? What are your impressions?

Craig King: I have not driven with them at night. I ordered them like 2-3 days ago from superbrightleds.com and got them FAST I ordered priority mail which was like 5 bucks and the bulbs were like 17.00 a piece somewhere around there.

But I got em yesterday and put em last evening so I will def update this evening as I'm going out so it will be dark when I'm out.

My impression so far though is that they are a solid bulb alot brighter than stock. thought about a comparison pic after I had already changed both but o well. I'll post some night pics tonight and update review but def think these are a awesome cheap upgrade. you wouldn't regret it.

superbrightleds.com also has a car tool on there site, select your car and boom gives you all the bulb numbers that they carry you can replace.

did mine exactly the same with the same bulbs LOVE EM. Except I wish they were alittle more brighter with alittle more blue hue. the bulbs i got from superleds same as OP are pure white. the pics cant show it exactly but its pure white and in person they are not as bright as the pics. I like them with tiny bit blue tint

18 vs 45

It looks like you got the 18 version, but they also offer a 45 version. Wonder how much brighter (if any) the 45 would be.

The bulb finder doesn't give me 1156 as my DTR, but I'm pretty sure that's the right bulb type.

I think I'll go with the 45LED version, but is 1156 the proper base?

yea the bulb finder for some reason doesn't through up the DTR. but yes the 1156 is the base you want the dual contact end. I looked at the 45 led but they are smaller so idk how much brighter they will be. Def post some pics that will be a good way to see comparison between the 18 and 45.

1156 is single contact, 1157 is dual?
