Phantom Black owners
I don't get the whole "black is harder to maintain thing. I've had an emerald green s14, red z33, and a black X. All of which I spent the same amount of time keeping clean. After a wash all 3 cars are ready to be shined up in a weeks time (or immediately after a rain). My nissans were used, so they came with some swirls, but I did a decent job (without pro equipment) polishing out the imperfections. Those imperfections were just as noticeable as they would have been on a black car. My X was new so the swirls were, and still are, very minimal even after 3+ years of ownership. 2 of those years included daily driving on a dusty gravel road. People say to me all the time "your paint looks so clean, but I bet you have to wash it all the time because its black". I just say, "I would wash and clean just as much as any other color".
I've been In love with black cars every since my moms 89 T-bird SC! It was so evil looking for its day, and now so is my X!

Every rock chip you get is pretty much going to break your heart, and if you live in a place that it constantly and unexpectedly rains it also gets to be a pain in the *** to maintain. But like everyone else has said, nothing compares to a PB Evo X when it's clean
Here is a pic of my PB Evo X.

I absolutely love it. I does take a little more attention to detail and keep clean. I always get compliments on this color and the car itself. Keeping a black car clean, is hard...no doubt...but once you do get it all cleaned up and detailed the results are second to none.

Wow, cleanest black evo x I've seen. One of the cleanest black cars actually, how often do you wash/detail/use any special methods because it's black?
Only reason I ask is I'm on the fritz as to which color to get
Very nice Zlayer!
