New Rim's Time!

Hey All!
It's new rim time for me! Have had my stock Enki's on now for two winters and they are starting to get worn. I'm in love with the "Rota Grid" in gunmetal. Only thing is there's an Evo or three around here running Rota's already. Can I pick your brains and ask you to let me know what you think is the sexiest wheel for the Evo X? Maybe I'll change my mind from the Rota's...

Thanks in advance!

Eire

What's your budget for the wheels?

Go with Rota P45r's instead, I think they're incredibly underrated for looks

I'm allowing myself 2k on rims and tires. Still trying to decide on some good rubber that's grippy , and don't ware to easily. A lot to ask, but there has to be something.

Wow! They are sexy! Not sure how I didn't see those before now. The Grid now has a contender...

I just got some konig deceptions in 18x9+15. I love them, same weight as the stock enkies but they sit flush with the fender.

Great choice. We are about to have some installed pictures of these on our Evo X for everyone. Stay tuned. 18x10 +25 MR7.

With 2000 for rims and tires, you're looking at about 1000 for rims. The choices I'm seeing all so far should come in right about within budget.

I like Advans for looks, but even watching the marketplace for a used set you're not going to find them for $1000 usually.

As a person who ran Volks for many years and now runs a set of Rotas, seriously, there's nothing wrong with Rotas at all, mine are all straight and balanced after 4 years. Everyone who says something bad about them is just sad because they paid a lot more for a more lightweight rim that looks the same.

Rotas are easily strong enough for anything daily that you may throw at them.
