I enjoy the GSR wing but I do not enjoy the attention from the 5-0. I'm going to be getting the do-luck trunk. It's your car, do what you want man.

Personally I want to go with the tall wing (I have the baby lancer wing now). If you decide to go that route, good luck finding one for sale...

 

@OP The wing really grew on me. I didn't like it at first because of limited visibility, more unwanted attention, etc but I think it adds character and definition to the car.

However, I love the clean look of going wingless, but I think it looks a bit plain without a lip or something. Hence, do-luck for me.

I'm thinking of picking up a Do-Luck trunk, and parting ways with my wing / trunk. I live in PG.

 

In my opinion, keep the current spoiler use the saved money on some lowering springs.

ive had both, i liked the wing better. Small margin but when i look at the car i imagine the wing on it no matter what

 

Definitely the big wing. It used to come on the MR, in my opinion it's not an evo without a huge spoiler! haha

 

Duck Bill Truck lid. That's all you need.

 

Big wing gives the car a more cohesive look, especially with the aggressive looking front end of the X's.

 

I just put the wing on my MR... I kept looking at the car and thinking it just doesn't look like a proper Evo without it! lol

I bought my MR Touring on Apr 21st last year and I bought the SSS wing shortly after and still didn't install it. I think the MR looks fine stock but if you add the wing it's going to need more aggressive wheels and tint in my opinion. That's why I keep putting it off.
