i was waiting for mine on that batch too but they said 2 came in messed up and i guess i was in the back of the line so now i wait . at least i still mine for the subaru to look at in the mean time

 

the paint is off because its not blended into the quarters, you wont get a match unless you have it blended.

i just ripped it apart for a rebuild. its a ghost shell now, i bought the trunk like 5 years ago when i brought 21 into the us from japan. its brand new still and never installed, i also have the full kit brand new waiting to go on. heres a quick pic before tear down

It's definitely a nice addition. A little pricey, but you pay for fitment and quality. Same reason why i went with chargespeed for my carbon kit and varis for my hood.

 

That paint shop is full of **** bro.. That's way off and its unacceptable. Plastic sometimes has a slight variation in color but its very minimal.. Your trunk is not minimal.. It doesn't match for ****..

 

yea i love that trunk i recently got mine not too long ago also.
