the paint job, engine build and turbo upgrade price are probably the only things that are a little high. .. maybe $5k for show-worth custom paint, $6-7k for engine build with quality parts and work on the heads from your old block.. unless that 12k figure was with a new block, then its not that outrageous... turbo upgrade i thought would be a little bit more like $4k after all said and done..
there are some folks that have spent $5k just for the varis widebody kit alone sans hood and diffuser and trunk... so.. not too far fetched.
if you get quality parts. it adds up.

I clicked on a link that had the cast while in Singapore go to different brands of cars to see the reaction of the cast.
As you could imagine they were like wtf?
Toyota Prius $150,00.00 USD
Nissan sentra $90,000.00 USD
BMW 6 series $330,000.00 USD
Seems govt in Singapore adds gigantic taxes to new cars to keep less cars on the tiny island.
I thought Canada prices were insane.
If I had to pay $150,000.00 for a Prius is be on a scooter.
That's Like a mortgage payment.
Ill never complain about my car payments ever.

Ha, got to say at first glace it looks better then some of the examples I see here--depending on the day , week , month. Still far from my taste. Just watch, in the coming months you will see details showing up here and there in the local "Look what I did when I was bored" thread. LOL.
