Plasti diped my oem wheels last weekend.

Finally got a chance to dip my wheels in charcoal grey. 3 coats of grey and 1 clear. they got a blue tint to them. Im happy the way they came out.

2 cans of the paint and 1 can of clear since i dont like my wheels too shiny .. our wheels are a pain to paint btw. so many spokes make it difficult to cover every side, plus i had to roll the car forward like 4 times to make sure i covered the whole wheel evenly with paint.

Why didn't you take them off? I imagine painting them while on the car is much harder. Also impossible to paint the entire wheel. I have a feeling cleaning/prepping the thing will take longer than painting.

How are they to clean? Is the plastidip tough enough to use a brush on or does brake dust come off easily? Mine are powder coated and a real PITA
