I've been meaning to post a thread with pics from when I wrapped my car this summer just haven't had the time. It did take hours upon hours to complete, but when it was done I was happy with the results. Strongly recommend it to anyone considering it. Let me know what you guys think!

Looks good. Does the vinyl have the same issues matte paint does?

Well the vinyl is said to last up to 10 years under proper care, but I will probably replace it years before that anyways. As long as the car is properly maintained, there wont be any issues. Plus is a fraction of the price compared to paint.

What are the downsides of this with the paint if any? I know a long time ago certain stuff left on paint would ruin it. But I don't see why this would harm the paint.

wrap is easier to take care off but if hit a rock and it peels, theres really nothing u can do.

Probably try to plaster if with a small portion of wrap? Its pretty obvious still.

If its paint and it chips, u can just use touch up camouflage it.

Yeah but its cheap to replace the wrap if it gets damaged because you will only need to rewrap the section that has been effected. But on the up side, I've had this wrap on my car since the first week of August and she's my daily and I have yet to have any peeling or major rock chips.

Yeah this was my first time at vinyl wrapping! I just watched a ton of videos and gave it a shot. It probably took about 15-20 hours in total but I really took my time to try to get everything perfect
