Recently just picked one up off of craigslist for a steal but is just a little dirty here n there with water marks and could use a little polishing, Am wondering how to go about doing this as I dont want to mess up the burnt finish on most of the exhaust and what not. From what Ive searched all I need to do is wash it with soap and water lol but wanted to hear what you guys got to say if theres anything extra I should do. Thanks!

 

hey, get a Metal polish from the store then just polish the dirty parts. It would be a lot quicker if you had a polisher. im not sure if the "burnt" finish is in the metal or like a coating. if its burnt into the metal then polishing it would be fine.

 

My buddy has it and uses the mothers metal polish and lightly rubs it.

 

I've had a few burnt tip titanium exhausts and I just wipe it down with WD-40 when it's cold.
