Why are these pieces selling for $500 each on ebay? WTF is up with that.. are you kidding me? Am i missing something special about the MR's aluminum shift knobs and aluminum hand break?

I am looking for a shift knob to match the chrome knobs that comes with my evo x. I can't seem to find a decent knob. Anyone has any pictures or suggestions on a bad *** chrome knob? More importantly i would specifically enjoy a knob that has a matching hand break that is NOT carbon fiber.

Hey, i mean.. if someone is selling their stock knobs and hand break i will buy it. But no where near that price.

 

They are expensive new, so expect the aftermarket to reflect that I would assume? <shrug> I like mine but the car came with them. Good luck in your search!

I bought the Aluminum handbrake for about $250 during a sale at the dealership. Couple weeks later, I bought the SST Aluminum shift knob for about $310. Expensive, but the little things make up the interior a lot nicer.

 

i bought an aluminum shift knob on ebay for $10, and a Mitsubishi cig lighter on ebay for $5.

took the Mitsubishi logo off the lighter, put it on the shift knob.

money saved = $245

camera flash makes knob color look much different than reverse lockout lever, but its actually its not.

The rookie salesman couldn't locate a stock shift knob when I bought my 2013 GSR. "You just got a $200 shift knob." I was like, uh ok. I looked it up a few months later, holy crap he wasn't kidding. I stopped by a week later and he was, "no longer with the dealership." I wonder if that had to do with a $200 freebie.

Theres a guy on ebay that has found a rare OEM mitsu leather e-brake handle for the X (but scratched the part number off the box) that sells em for $35.

I just ordered one.
