Hello all,

I have been searching for more information on this is done and have found surprisingly little info. Im comfortable to do it myself, but would really like the insight of those who have done it to avoid any surprises.

On previous cars the process was strip the headlights down of all bulbs, ballasts, and wires, remove the metal clips clamping the headlights together, wrap the headlight in a moist towel, put it in the over at 350 for about 10 minutes, crack the glue open, paint the headlights, put a little 3M sealent on the headlights and buttom them back up.

However, the SSS headlights are quite a bit more expensive then what I am used to.

If there is anyone known to specialize in this Id pay to. The dude Ttsumibishi doesnt seem to do them anymore. Downtime isnt the end of the world to me.

Also I really dig the red reflectors people do to the lights. Any info on that would also be appreciated.
