I have 14 MR and just lowered on Progress springs w/ stock rims... I'm still feeling it out.

Do you feel the need to revalve the stock bilsteins?

I used to have Zeal Function Xs on my VIII's... that was perfect.

Any more pics guys....all this mods list doesn't help.
I have a 14 MR and want to do exactly as the op. Wider stance, lower ride, no rubbing, stock ride feel, no track use.

I'm leaning towards CE28s or RGDs and Ohlins R&T. I'm a newbie so don't know about offset and such. : (

CE28n 18X9.5 +22 will fit, the lower the offset # the wheel is pushed out towards the

Hey my rims come in this month. Once everything is installed, you can email me your contact info and I can brief you with picture and information on the set up.

I'm really happy with my ohlins. I just got a set of ce28 18x10.5 +18 which is a pretty standard for evo X. With a set of 275/35 you'll need the fenders rolled and some slight massaging. Check out 311rs on Instagram that's his set up on all the cars

For those like me who simply don't need the best wheels on the market for spirited DDing and good looks, it's worth mentioning that Japan Racing JR5, cast copies of CE28 are great looking and about 1/3rd the price and are also readily available in our fitment (18x9.5+22). Haters gonna hate but they look every bit as good as the real thing. When I get my X I will be fitting these, color will depend on final body color of my car.
