buying the rubber seal separate from Mitsu would be nice but if you cant find it you could always find out what shape the rubber is and buy it from a company that sells "extruded rubber" trim pieces.

I'm pretty sure that shift knob is not a genuine Mitsubishi part. But if you're happy with it that is all that matters. But personally I would be upset if someone represented a part as a genuine Mitsubishi part and it wasn't. Because the price & fitment of oem parts.

The shift knob sits about a 1/4 " higher than the oem knob. The after market looks higher as it is crowned. Hope that helps.

Researched on google and it is a genuine mitsubishi part at least overseas, China/Japan but not only for the evo. It fits other mitsu cars, lancer ex and gts. However if if you use the part # on an American dealership site it is not found.
Bottom line, as you stated, I am happy with th shift knob.

How long did you have to wait for the rear spats?

The take about 2 weeks. The seller paints to order, about 3 days, and then 10 days to be shipped from over seas.
