New 2015 Evo MR Review
From the world must famous beach and the world must famous speedway I present the new 2015 Evo MR I purchased from Daytona Beach Mitsubishi.
Had to wait for this model for 2 months to arrive. The first MR in Florida.
Traded my 2013 Touring MR with leather Recaro's with 11K miles for this 2015 Phantom Black beauty.
I wanted to own the last year production Evo.
Here are a few pictures I took with my Note phone. I will take better pictures with
my Nikon when I get more time.
Loving this Evo. The seats are much easier to get in and out of them. Softer seats, not as supportive
as the Recaros. Overall the Recaros look better with the carbon etc. but this new seats are also
good looking.
I plan to put an Evo X logo on their head rest part. Should look sweet.
Please comment or ask any questions.
For those who were waiting on pictures details I think this will help. There was not
much information on the 2015's out there yet.

They say just 1 picture is worth about 1000 words, lol.
There is not much to say about the 2015 Evo as it functions very much like the
previous models.
The cup holders are different and no longer have the closing tray.
The side mirrors are now heated and have the side turn signals build in.
The old side markers are replaced by small chrome vent.
The seats are same or similar carried over from the Rally Art Lancer.
The new option packages are priced differently and there are a few more standard
options.
The bumper to bumper warranty is now only 2 year/24 months.
The door panels have nicer stitching now with a little pattern instead of plain fabric
or leather.
I noticed a difference in the floor mats as well, they feel lighter in weight.
There may be other differences in the engine parts etc. but non that I know off as of
now.
This is my 3rd. Evo X and I feel this one with just a little over 100 miles has a
better pick up than the other 2.
Feels to spool faster. I have not taken it pass 4K yet. Too new for a performance review.
I hope this helps a little more as far as the review.

You are right, not really bad looking and they do offer lateral support.
But I want to point out they are softer when you are pressed against this supports
both bottom and side support.
They do not hug you like the Racaros.
I like this seats because they are easier to get in and out off. But for those that
want the Evo for road racing this new seats will not work as well for that purpose.
I do not do road course racing. So for me is not a problem.

The Evo leather Recaro seats are awesome in every way Harro.
However, my first 2013 X MR had the fabric Recaros and I traded that car in with less than 3 thousand miles because to me they are basic fabric.
The fabric nap was already starting to change direction and look worn with no miles on them. And 95 percent of the Evos have them fabric Recaro seats.
Also no one mentions the stock 140 watt factory radio. Wow, that radio is a joke on a 34K car. Even my 2014 Corolla has a better touch screen unit and sounds better.
But a lot of Evos have them.
The 2015 seats look terrible in fabric. I would not buy a 2015 Evo with those seats either. So all of you are right saying the standard seats blow.
The 2015 leather seats look fine and they are much better getting in and out of them for me. And they have the air bags which have better for safety.
They are not Recaros but I like them.
I upgraded to a 2 year newer car with the last year Evo model. With the touch screen radio and heated mirrors. And that Phantom Black .

I actually like the seats. Same that were in my RA. Those Recaros were actually the reason I didn't get the EVO three years ago.
