This exhaust get so much attention

So short story i got an exhaust. In my head all exhaust is an exhaust, some is nicer some isn't that nice then others, but all of them does a same job, and basically with a same performance = exhale.

But i got this one, and it is for me still really strange how many compliment an exhaust can get. Never mind a fact everybody thinks it is a super expensive item. Like thousands , and only cost something like $1200+ lol
I have to admit the best sounding and growling exhaust i ever had. I have no cat but stock downpipe and 02 housing and the MXP exhaust. Almost 0 highway noise when you cruising, but it is loud when you on it.

So in a way, i am starting believe the burned tip exhaust a way to go if you need attention.
I think this exhaust in the USA with many evos with many different exhausts i have ever owned, this is by far the best in every way, unless you dont like lots of compliments.

here it is what i am talking about:

MXP exhaust

I also have some sound clips, but they made with a phone, and really doesn't give the honest feed back the way its sounds. My friends made it because the bang-bang tune i got.

So sum it up, the best exhaust i ever owned on ANY type of Evolution. Maybe not super light or super straight etc. A very very good performing exhaust.( very good flow) But definitely the best looking and sounding, i ever had, based on my and others opinion. Some even call it a bling lol

Nice. Made by Mackin Industries (Rays, Advan, ect). Should be a good product. Youtube clips do sound pretty good. How loud is it on cold startup?

it is really not a good feed back this video, in person sounds soo much smoothe,r and deeper. Has a nice growl , but almost none at cruising speed or at idle.

This exhaust really does sounds nice. Hence why people looking at it after they hear it.

If your goal is to get people to turn their heads then yeah this does the job. Although half of the head turning (mine included) would be people thinking "wow that thing sounds broken" or "this car needs to be tuned". I don't know, if that's what you like cool, but too many pops & bangs sounds like a cheap busted up car to me, and this is a $35-40k car so cheap is not the objective. A smooth growl with a little bit of gargle is fine for me. Most all evo exhaust applications will give a good gargle and some afterfire because of the burning up of the rich a/f mixture. This is just too much.

only cheap - badly tuned cars pops

you should hear my car when its actually warms up the exhaust.... LOL talking about rapid fire

After 10+ years still amaze me how much less Evo guys know about this car heritage, and the technical things vs the Subaru guys. Just because you dont know what it is, and think its a bad tune ( LOL ) don't assume others also dont know about it. In fact you would be surprised how many actually knows about it...

ps: the pops and bangs only works over 3600 rpm(switching RPM to on or off) though, this way we can keep it civil on the streets. Under that its disabled vs the race cars which are on as soon as you switch it on ( by the ALS switch, no RPM switch for on or off), but automatically shots off over 7 sec continuous ON period. After the first throttle input it comes back again. Little insight

In my rally car you will find that switch labeled as the "Anti Lag "

The car in your first example video is not a track/race car... its a street evo. Yes, yes evos are rally cars, but theres a difference between the first video example and your car which is apparently a true racer

For the street... theres no need for that!

with that mentality, you dont even need an Evo for the street period, never mind even upgrading it with anything.

PS: As i said doesnt even work or you can call it silent under 3600rpm. Which is in fifth gear around 80 mph.( around 80 mph whee you can start hear the pops starting on highway) That is basically over the speed limit in almost the entire USA, Mr Officer

nope, anti lag can produces positive turbo pressure, this one doesnt.
My Rally car set it up to have a 0 psi at off throttle, i dont like positive pressure.

This pop and bang tune doesnt even make a 0 psi at off throttle , but def. does help to delay the the pressure drop at off throttle.
