I actually dont know. It seems like the timing belt was streched and it snapped and thats when things blew. I dont think this this typical either, maybe just bad luck.

Wow, yeah a stretched timing chain seems like terrible luck. Either way, I hope everything works out (and for not too much money, lol)

*timing chain

And I know your pain. Im still running in break in miles on my motor after the top ring on cylinder 3 went. I'm running the bbx full as well, and I can imagine both of us being 400+ on pump gas. Excited to see what you're able to put down with it man.

tires are bit more expensive. I had the Nt03 before in size 18 and the vehicle handles to same IMHO. The car does not rub but i do have the fenders rolled, i guess it just depends on the setup. I have a +12 offset and I like the the way the car stands. Once the motor is in i will detail the car and post up some photos

Im hoping for 400+. I know i will be there on E85 but i would like to be there on Pump. Im thinking of building the blown block on the side in case anything ever happens again- then i could start on a serious build.
