I replaced the Window Pieces for the GSR and left the front Chrome Grill. Initially PlastiDip the Window Trim, but decided was better to replace at the end. I'm selling the plastidip ones.

Well I decided to pull the trigger. Bought a car kit from a vendor considerably cheaper than dyc. The whole process only took 3.5 hours, including a lunch break, and all the prep work.

Yeah it looks great when the weather is gloomy, but in the sun it looks like primer. I might dip it again in a month or so with a white pearl with purple flakes lol

I still think you did an excellent job. It is just missing a little something for my taste. The bright pic looked a little plasticky?? I did like the darker one. Wish I had the skill/***** to do that. Look forward to seeing any future versions.

The whole process was actually surprisingly easy. I've never plasti dipped a whole car before, just small parts like logos and emblems. you can actually spray everything (windows, headlights, taillights) and just peel off what you don't want covered. It took me a few hours to do the whole car. If you ever wanna try a new color I'd definitely recommend giving it a shot, it's hard to mess it up.

I have to try this out. How long does it last if the car is a DD and garage kept?

Sorry for the late response my car is my daily, I was able to get everything done in just under 4 hours. It’s pretty easy to do. I’ve dipped small trim pieces before and this was my first attempt at the whole car. It’s been a little over 2 months now and it’s holding up just like the day I dipped it.
