Question KW's V3 advice?

Ive been reading thread after thread ROBISPEC KW's set up. It amazes me how it was done and people has been really happy with the results.

Now, Im ready to get mine installed tom but this is just putting it on the car no ROBISPEC setup. maybe next time

and I would like to hear some advice from fellow members that has KW's for D.D car.

Whats your setup, alignment specs, rebound/dampening set to?

I understand that they come preset...height, rebound and dampening.

But if u guys have more to add pls let me know, really excited to put this on the car tom!! The car is more of a D.D. for now.

Thanks!!

they pre set for high speed racing. So i wouldn't mess with the rebound and such.
The wheel alignment is a difficult question. where you want to use the car? Racing ? how often?
Tires? rims? car weight?
You better off if you go the reputable wheel aligment shop with the CAR.
They could help. better
Rob

Or just wait until Robispec shows up around your area.

That is to adjust the height of the coilovers. They came with wrenches correct?

I'm waiting for you ...............jeff

For the D.D. I just had Rob do his magic. The car was great on the track and except for some hard rear thumps over the difficult strips on the highway, I have no complaints only praise. Rob followed up with a phone call to see if all was well after the install and will adjust the rear coilovers to satisfy my wife. Can't ask for more! I highly recommend Robispec.

Im aware those are my lockrings, where u turn it using the spanner to adjust the height, but if you take a close look theres a small allen key hole..inside the black circle.

It's a set screw to keep the perches from moving.

Yes, they need to be tightened. Do not overtighten them however as you can strip them. Just get them snug.

Did you get any instructions from your vendor? This is why you should get them from a place that knows what they are doing so you can just ask them.
