I sold my old car that was RWD and just replaced my rear tires about 5 months ago, they still have like 95% tread left, if i replace the fronts with new tires and put them on is that small difference of about 5% wear gonna destroy my diff?

no they were on a RWD car, and I want to put them on my GSR, with new tires on the front, and slightly used on the back. or do i need to buy all 4, just don't want to waste the money if it's not needed.

 

Be safe and buy all 4.

 

With our cars the tread gets eaten so quickly on the fronts that there will always be a slight difference in tread unless you rotate perfectly every time.

 

why are you wanting to swap the tires? Are they better? I hope they are the same size as the ones on the Evo.

Are the tires on your Evo shot?

If the tires on the Evo are OK then I would just sell the ones from your old car and move on.
