Brembo color code
Brembo color code
So i finally had a chance to put my AS Pole Position on today, everything went perfectly until i got home and clean my wheels and notice a chunk of paint coming off of one of the Brembos. Im pretty sure it came off when they try to put the wheels back on. Cant these tire shop do anything right?!? anyways anyone know where i can get touch up for the Brembos? if there isnt any maybe something that comes close? thanks
After reading your post, I ran outside to check on my Brembos. I just had my winter tires mounted and balanced on my stock wheels today. Sure as sh*t one of my rear calipers has a nice nick on the top of it. I can't say 100% that it was from the tire shop since I never paid close attention before, but I don't see what else it could be from. I inspected the hell out of my wheels when they were done, but didn't even think to inspect the brakes.
So I guess I could use the paint code for red Brembos too...

I'm having the same problem here...but the dealer called Brembo to have the red color code...and they didn't want to give him the code....so I'l guess we'll have to be good to find this damn code!!!
^or find something that comes close. i tried the caliper paint from dupont you get at auto, no go. oh i was detailing the car today inside and out, and notice more nicks on the brembos! what kind of paint they use for this thing crayola?!?

I have searched all over the internet and I can't find any color code for any brembos....gold, red, yellow, nothing. I would give brembo a call but i doubt they will give it to you. The best bet, but it will be an extreme case, take a caliper off and take it to a color match place and hope for the best.
+1 for the good find, I just purchased a bottle for $17USD...I never bought from an overseas seller on Ebay, I hope it goes well...
