TPMS question

Sorry if it's the wrong forum mods!

I had a questions regarding the TPMS.

I've searched and didn't find a thread pertaining to this topic, although I may be in the wrong forum.

If I were to go about changing my wheels and getting new threads for them, how would i go about the tpms in the new wheels? I know I don't want to leave them out due to the annoying screen.

Any help would be well appreciated! Thanks

There is actually several threads pertaining to this. If you get new wheels, you will need your sensors, or to buy new ones. The TPMS light can only be reset by the dealer for about $100(so far there isn't software in the aftermarket to do this).

Just take your TPM Sensors from the old wheels and put them in the new wheels. You will not need to reset anything. The car will take a minute or two to figure it out, but after that your good. I switched mine over to my new wheels, had no issues.
