With the weight of the X, I do think both the front and the rear are a good way to go. Swaybars are a good cheap way to increase roll resistance and they don't impact ride quality much. The X definitely needs a lot more roll resistance for serious driving.

So I say get both if you can. If you do get just 1, go for the rear....partially because the install is so much easier. But you would see a much greater benefit from getting both.

DOE!! those instructions tell you to take your whole car apart before installing the front sways...OUCH!! Wonder what the cost for labor would be to install those?

I spoke to the technician that did the install and he said I would not need an alignment. I will be keeping an eye out for tire wear to make sure its okay.
What settings did they setup your front and rear?

Once on one setting for the sway bars, what do you need to do to change to another setting? Is it difficult/time consuming to do?

I believe it's a matter of getting your car on 4 jack stands and unlinking the endlinks and relinking it to the new setting.

^Correct. The process should take less than 10 mins.

Assuming the bolts at the end-link aren't rusted and that you have an allen key that isn't snapped in half because of the force you need to apply to those damn rusted nuts to loosen it

Looks like Chicago uses salt to clear its roads.

Has anyone added a rear brace to their X and the rear sway bar? Is that overkill? I am thinking about the Cobb rear sway bar as well, but the rear OEM brace would be nice to have too.

Are you talking about the rear strut tower brace? If so, it functions independent from the sway bar and therefore not overkill at all.

Yes the rear strut tower brace. If that would help the stiffness of the rear of the car I think I am going to put one on including the adjustable sway bar.
