Help with rim damage!

I went over a curb with my EvoX MR with both the driver front and rear tires. The car after that had a vibration through the steering wheel. The tires were at their end life, so I replaced them, balanced them: same problem. The tire shop checked the rims and said one was damaged and tried fixing it by hammering it into correction. After that the ride is much better but still at about 75 and higher the vibration is back. Is there a remedy/fix to this other than replacing the rim?
Thanks

did you get an alignment? if the alignment doesn't work then either have a wheel shop repair the wheels or buy a new wheel. since you tried all of those, my money is on the alignment

Actually I'm betting you have a messed up bearing and/or hub if you went over a curb bad enough to bend a wheel.

Since the guy at the tire shop tried to fix the wheel and it got somewhat better, I don't think it is the bearings. Alignment does not contribute to steering wheel vibration though, does it?

I did say "I don't think so" and not I know so.
Anyways, good info: thanks.
I am having it checked for bearing damage on Thursday. If OK, will be sending the rims out for repair followed by an alignment.
What a pain
