WIDTH: 275 NT05 v. 265 Star Spec
WIDTH: 275 NT05 v. 265 Star Spec
First off, I know per Nitto's and Dunlop's specs a 275 NT05 is 0.09" wider than a 265 Star Spec.
I'm really looking for 1st hand experience with this comparison. Who's had both and can compare the width of the two?

Go with 265 for street driving, more than enough tire for street driving, especially with AWD, car will handle far more predictably.
However, a 275/35/18 will be close to the stock size, interms of speedometer accuracy.

I'm really asking since I have the availability to obtain a set of 275 NT05s right away, but I'm trying to avoid rubbing. I've been waiting on a set of 265's. I'm on swift springs (0.6" rear drop) w/ 1.2* of camber. Wheels are 18x9.5 +20. People have pulled this off w/ a 265 Star Spec, so that's the nature of my question.
I'm on swifts with same rims/offset and 265 RE01Rs and I rub. I even have 2 degrees of camber in the rear. I rolled the fenders slightly and that solved the rubbing. I'm guessing you'll rub with either tire.
