Will A +35 Offset Fit A X?

I wanted to know if 18x9 +35 offset rims will fit my X, they are my old rims from my VIII. Will I need spacers or will they clear the calipers? I have 255/35/18 Star Specs on the rims.

The +35s should clear without a problem, but if you own a X why don't you just jack it up and throw a wheel on to see if it fits??

the only issue might be the calipers. It's possible that they won't clear the brakes.

The tires are a poor size for the X though. Your speedo is going to be way off since those tires are shorter than the stock size by a good amount (use a tire size calculator).

Yep. Some wheel designs may have an offset that is in the stock range but will still come in contact with the front calipers. If you are ever considering a wheel with an offset very close to the max it's always good to either look to see if someone else has tried the wheels or do a test fit before you put the rubber on.

Its possible that a 35 offset could still hit the calipers. Just try em and see what happens.
