Will a 245/45/18 tire be alright on the x any problems I might have please help

I had all season tires through the winter but they were just slightly bigger 255/45/18 and they rubbed on the fender lining (the one on the front side with the vented ribs) and even broke a couple vents. Not even at full lock.... this was before I was lowered.

245/45/18 might be ok, but don't take my word for it haha. Also remember that all tires are not exactly the same even with the same numbers/dimensions.

245/45/18 is taller than stock therefore slower... don't do it. Buy the right size.

How is a 40 safer than a 45...

It's just taller and has more sidewall flex.
