Multi-Pro Coil-Over R2: Is anybody using these?
Our local club is likely going to field at least 2 cars for the One Lap of America event next spring, my intention is to have a decent set of Coilovers on the car by then and these may fit the bill. Getting some sort of sponsorship/assistance on the upgrade would certainly help test these.

You can check out the tracks they are likely running for the 2010 event and the recent trip to the MOD (Mitsubishi Owners Day) event in Normal, IL where they brought the rally painted Galant VR4 out for display. The VR4 is going for sure and we have to choose from a near stock Evo X, a moderately modded Evo 9, my GT30 Evo X, or a highly modified Supra as the second car.

I'll keep an eye out in the "for sale" forum, but please do post as soon as you have all pricing info available and sorted out. Thank you.
We've got all info sorted out including spring rates. I think the Eibach coilovers are a great option personally.

How is the pro street kit? Would it actually improve stock performance? It is hard to find coilover, like you said, that doesn't suck lol
The Pro Street is a good option for a street, light track or auto-x application. Definitely better than stock, with good solid damping. They aren't super aggressive, but then that's fine for this application. I think of it more as a really nice matched strut and spring combo that happens to be height adjustable and has a good amount of travel.

I was really impressed with the quality of the hardware. Solid aluminum perches with extra locking perches. Very nice. Nice positive clicks from the compression adjusters on the remote canisters. That's pet peeve of mine with KW. Sometimes it's hard to feel the "clicks" and sometimes it's not with KW. And i've assembled a couple hundred sets of those....
Great feeling helper springs. Not ultra cheap/flimsy feeling, but not stiff enough to be tender springs and cause the spring rate to be progressive.
And these things come with Eibach coilover springs obviously....waaaay better than the cheap generic crap springs that come on some of the lesser expensive coilovers. And yes spring quality makes a big difference.
Overall I was impressed with the quality and the "little things" that make a coilover easy to use.
Oh and Vorshlag plates kicked *** of course. Beefy.
