its normal, high performance brakes are like that. Get some magic pads if you want to get the squeal as low as possible.

My brakes are squeaking REALLY bad, WTF is going on? My car only has 6k miles and the pads still have a lot left. Has anyone else had this problem, if so how did you fix it. Uusing the stock pads I know I could just replace them.

I really dont feel like replacing them if I dont have to.

i got front brembos on my lancer with semi metalic pads, there is no getting away from it, sooner or later its going to start squealing unfortunately. You can do what was suggested and get a non squealing pad but in some cases you may comprise with less braking power.

Its just the way it is.

I have my car almost a year now with 5,000km and my stock pads never squeak. One thing for sure is I keep my brakes & wheels very very clean. Even I don't feel like washing my car, I still quick wash the wheels once a week or every 2 week no matter what weather. Btw I do hate the dust on stock pads!

This is key. If you wash your wheels/brakes every 2 weeks, you will almost never get any squeal.

I do, my car is garaged and I rarely use it in sh!tty weather. I keep it show room clean all the time. I do believe that it might be the weather, it has gotten VERY cold here. It just started with the weather change.

i was at 7k mi. when my brakes started to squeek like a b!tch. got so annoyed, took it to the dealership but they just told me that high performance brakes especially brembo are known to squeek after a while. turn up the volume of ur music, it helps ..
