I had a set of RSR down springs on my old 2g gsx. I used them with tokico blue shocks. They did last a while but eventually blew. More so from the pothole filled NJ roads.

Every lowering spring will eventually blow your shocks from 3000-20000 miles

Depends....

Anyway since you asked what i think, i need to do more research on the standard EVO X shocks....which is one reason we haven't come out with a spring for this car yet. We don't just pick numbers out of a hat and go for a drop that looks good. We do quite a bit of R&D and testing when making springs.

The drop sounds like too much for how soft the springs are off the top of my head.
