Alignment woes....

So i have the 6 month alignment @ NTB and they told me there is nothing they can do with the front camber. Toe looks good all the way around, but is this out of spec too much??

Thanks

Your caster is fine. If it was off, something is bent.. It is not adjustable on our cars..

The camber is really off in terms of being equal. The car will pull to the side with the least negative camber and in this case it is the left.. Stock camber should have both sides at -1*.. The more negative camber you run, the better your grip is around turns as there will be more contact patch when weight shifts.. However in a straightline which is mostly the case for daily driven cars, the contact patch is less due to the wheels tilting inwards aka negative camber.. Causes wear on the inside but not heavy wear. The heaviest wear is when the toe is off.

Toe is perfect.

I am unsure of this, but people keep mentioning you turn the bolt 180 or something or flip it around? to adjust the camber to stock or more negative..

If you are not feeling any pull to the left, the alignment will not really do damage but will give you quicker wear on the inside of the tires. I would leave it alone if there is no pull..

thats a huge difference between left and right camber settings

thats 0.6 degrees off....haha....i personally wouldn't take anything over 0.3 degrees off of each other...

Yes, struts typically have two bolts that attach them to the knuckle. For the Mitsu, the upper bolt is an eccentric bolt but the strut has a flat on it that "doesn't" allow for adjustment. You can, however, flip (rotate) it over 180* to line up with the opposite side of the bolt head. You do this by loosening the nut, sliding out the bolt enough to clear the flat on the strut, rotating it 180*, and then retightening the nut.

I recently did this and it went from -1 to -2.2.
