Strut Bars Front & Rear

I'm not sure if this is a repeat thread but if it is, my apologies. I was curious, does anyone have any input on whether or not aftermarket Strut Bars, front and rear, show any positive rigidity over OEM? After trolling around the forums for some time i notice a lot of people do tend to pick up the Cusco or the Kansai Service Bars, I was just curious how much of this is a bling factor over the ugly OEM bar? or how much of it is for performance. Please advise, thanks!

Honestly the rigidity of the stock bar being secured at 3 points is quite good, and even the rear has a fair amount of stiffness from all the crossbracing behind the seats. Likely the biggest thing is you will cut some weight compared to the stock bar and then if you add the rear one it will basically bring you back to the same weight again. It can't hurt but in the grand scheme of things it's likely a minimal upgrade.
