Interesting find while installing my wheels
I put on my 18x9.5 Rota DPT wheels in Cosmic Blue with 265/35 Hankook R-S2 tires today. They went on my GG X. I weighed both sets of wheels and tires.
Stock GSR wheel with stock size Kumho SPT tire and TPMS installed= 47.6 lbs
Rota wheel with Hankook tire and no TPMS sensor= 49 lbs
Wider wheels, wider tires, stickier tires, stiffer sidewall, sexy flushness but with only 5.6 lbs extra unsprung mass=

I know you are talking weight... but if you talk about going from stock to aftermarket... you went wider, heavier and less sticky than stock. Unsprung mass loss/gain is huge compared to any other form of weight loss/gain.
Also... the weight of the tires to be relevant should be weighed off wheel, both sets brand new. Used tires (dont know how long you used them) do shred weight over time. Tire weight will impact your unsprung weight more than the wheels will since they are further away from the center of the rotating mass.
I mean... congrats... if thats what you are looking for a response of, but my 2 cents is just that what you are saying is extremely confusing with all the unrelated variables. You could probably do better at performance hypothetically if you went from dating a fatty to dating a skinny chick (not that you are).
