In my single experience with him I found Robert to great at what he does, which is tuning suspension. He is pretty awful at customer service up until the point where he's actually working on your car at which point he is AMAZING and does nothing less than everything to get the job done well and right. I would say his lack of communication is par for the course but you'll be happy once you finally get your stuff assuming it requires his custom tuning. From my dealing with him he was extremely busy and overwhelms himself with business and can't manage all of it in the timely fashion people expect these days. He really should try to spell out how slow and erratic his response times will be prior to customers dealing with him... but then you gotta wonder if anyone that didn't know the great work he did would deal with him. He just has too much going on but it's not fair I think to customers if he doesn't tell them this in advance.
He's definitely not the guy to call about ordering a part you needed yesterday. I think he is definitely the guy to call if you need someone to set you up with the right configuration, fly out to install it, tune it, AND you're very very flexible on your timeframes.

Actually, I have to say my experience with Robert was different. I called him about 1 month before I knew I wanted to do buisness. He set up a time for me and a couple of others that next month, flew into town, did the install of the KWs, rear sway, roll center kit, rear bump kit...all while waited, then corner balanced the car with me in it and aligned it. No issues with communication and he has answered most times I have called him on the phone about set up since then.

That's very disturbing. At this point I am experiencing buyers remorse like crazy. What happens when I need them re-valved, or something breaks down on them during the auto-x season? Do I have to wait months to try and get them sent in, only to wait months again to get them back?

Yup, I am getting closer to pulling the trigger along with another buddy of mine.
We will definitely be finding a different vendor to use. Threads like this and the other one makes the amount of choices much easier to choose from.

Folks: unless you are local to Robi and can actually look him in the eye and ask him "where are my coilovers" on a daily basis, you shouldn't even consider purchasing from him.

Wow. I can't believe you even waited this long. I would have been irate. I am really sorry to hear that he left you hanging, and I don't understand why? What did he say when you talked to him? Were they just backordered or that busy?
I recommended him to you before in another thread and I am sorry that it didn't pan out. Did he just give you the money back, or haven't you heard from him in a while?

Not your fault, a lot of people have had great luck. I don't know what's going on. The PM I got 2 1/2 weeks ago from Robi said he was out of the country until that Monday, and he would get me my paperwork right away, with the suspension to follow asap. Again, I haven't gotten or heard anything since. All of my emails / voicemails contained my phone number and asked him to call me. I've heard nothing, so I decided we need to just go our separate ways.
