SSR Tire Specifications

I have SSR 18 x 9.5 +22 wheels on my X and I am running stock suspension. I want to know what the best tire size is to go with. Dont want to roll my fenders or anything crazy. Was thinking 265/35/18. What do you guys think?

Correct size. I also have 18x9.5 wheels (mine are +25). Also on stock suspension. The 275/35/18 (Toyo R888) rub a little bit on full lock turns on the fenderwell plastic. So the 265 should be just enough smaller to not rub at all.

What tires are you looking at?

Im not sure yet. I dont want to run a race compound or similar like the R888's because the X is the daily driver. Need something summer only high performance with some tread for rainy days.

Yeah, I'm a little weird because I run the R888's on the street (daily driver), and switch to NT-05's for the track (street tire class). Yes I'm backwards LOL, but I got such a good deal on the 888's that I don't care about them too much. But they sure are getting loud now!

Well I'm sure you can do your own research on tires, there are plenty of recomendations discussed previously on the forum.

Good luck!
