Noob, Spring Question

I just recently bought a 2010 Evo X SE it comes with the MR suspention. I want to install some lowering springs and I was wondering wich spring gives the lowest drop? also if anyone could post pics I would appreciate... Thanks

i think you might get beat up for that question.... might wanna do a bit of searching

as dumping your car with springs will no doubt affect handling... if you want a major dump.. go coilovers. or else eibachs will give you a decent drop and not look like crap... but if you want looks and performance go with the swift sport spec r spring (some one can correct me if the name was not quite right) but they will give you a bit of look and wont ruin the performance built into an Evo

I'd LOVE to see an actual track test someday comparing all the different lowering springs that are available for the Evo X.

Which ones would be better H&R or Eibach?

Do you want a spring to drop your car really low or to improve handling? They generally aren't the same.

Taking the MR springs off the car is a big mistake. They are what really sets the MR apart.

I'm trying to decide between Eibach Springs or Tein S Springs.. I looked at the specs an the tein says it drops 1.4 front and 1.0 in rear and the eibach 1.2 front and 1.0 rear. Are these correct specs cause I want the springs that have the lowest drop in the front ... If anyone could post any pics I would appreciate it.

I'd say it's more of the struts (Bilstein vs KYB) that sets it apart. But that's just me.
